11-year-old boy Legs Sliced By Moving Train After Friends Pressured Him To Train Surfing – Watch. An 11-year-old boy lost both of his legs after friends peer “pressured” him into train surfing, a dangerous trick that involved riding moving cargo carriages, for a YouTube video.

Arkady Aksenov was with two children aged 14 and 12 when he jumped on to a moving cargo carriage in St Petersburg, Russia.
Tragically, the boy slipped and fell onto the track, leaving his limbs exposed to the wheels of the train, which sliced off both of his legs.

His devastated mum, Maria Petrova, claimed the two people he was with “left him for dead” as they watched him “wounded and bleeding” through the bushes.

Ms Petrova said Arkady’s left leg was torn off completely, up to his buttocks, and lost his right leg up to just above his knee.

Heroic train driver Bulat Zhakeev miraculously spotted the boy and gave the boy first aid, preventing blood loss and calling emergency services.

In a Facebook post, Arkady’s mum said two people “have been pushing him to try train surging and make a video for YouTube to become famous.”

She said: “You who threatened him to get on that train.

“There were two of you, aged 12 and 14, your names and addresses are of course established. They left him wounded, bleeding.

“They didn’t panic, but quietly left, through the bushes.

“They didn’t try to run towards people so that they could have been seen by the accident place.”

She added: “They were certain that there were no CCTV cameras on the railway, which is true, and that Arkady would die and not say a word.

“You little idiots!

“Yes, people would have said that it was a pity you started it all, but they would have said well done to you not to have left your friend in that horrible hour.

“You won’t be punished for what you’ve done.

“By law, you won’t be punished because you are children and you are not subject to the law.”

Maria said she has watched footage of her son lying on the track in -5C temperatures until the passing train driver stopped.

Mr Zhakeev said: “I noticed a large dark spot from the corner of my eye, and thought it was soil not covered with snow, when suddenly it moved.

“It was a person who somehow lifted himself off the ground, and pushed away from the track. I realised it was a boy lying with his face down in the pool of his blood.

“He said Help. I’m cold. What I saw as dark soil was his blood.”

Arkady is alive but he remains in critical condition, it has been reported, with state transport launching an investigation into violation of traffic rules.
