Grim Discovery: Site of Ritual Sacrifices Found in Gblorkope, Volta Region

Authorities in the Central Tongu District of the Volta Region have made a shocking discovery in the community of Gblorkope—an area believed to be used for ritual human sacrifices. This unsettling find comes after police arrested three out of six suspects last year in connection with the disappearance of a young man.

The suspects revealed the location of the hidden burial site during investigations into the missing person. Upon digging up the area, officials found not only the body of the missing man, Nelson Anyinaa, who was 28 years old, but also four other bodies, including that of a child.

The bodies have been taken by authorities for further examination and to help identify the victims. Meanwhile, the suspects, identified as Noah Gblor, John Gblor, and Yohannes Gblor, remain in police custody as the investigation continues.
