Imagine having to explain power cuts to a persistent toddler who takes no excuses. That’s the drama this mother had to deal with.
The mother, @Smanje, uploaded a video of her toddler insisting on charging his toy car during a power failure.
In the video, the frustrated mom can be heard trying to explain to the boy that there is a power failure, but the boy couldn’t care less about Eskom’s issues – he needed his toy car charged ASAP.
“I need to charge it,” he told his mom.

“I understand that, but I just told you nguthi there is no electricity. They are still fixing, they are still working on it,” responded the mom.
But the toddler didn’t want to hear the excuse.
“Wait, wait, wait, mamela, mamela, I need to charge it so don’t say no to me,” he said.
The video, which was uploaded on Tik Tok, has received over 90,000 views and many are calling for the little fella to head over to Eskom to deal with the power cuts!
