On May 23, 2024, Pasqual broke into Shehorn’s home in Sunland. Shehorn had already filed a restraining order against him. She described the terrifying moments when he entered the bathroom where she was hiding.

“When I was lying on the floor in a pool of my own blood, I wondered if this was how my life was going to end,” Shehorn told the court. “I was terrified, I was in pain.” She suffered over 20 stab wounds during the attack and needed emergency surgery. She spent several days in intensive care.

Who is Nick Pasqual?

Nick Pasqual (36) is an actor who had established a career appearing in various television series and films. He is perhaps best known to mainstream audiences for his guest role as “Will” in Season 7, Episode 5 of the hit sitcom How I Met Your Mother, titled “Field Trip.” His other credits include appearances in the indie film Poor Paul, and uncredited roles in the Steve Jobs biopic Jobs and Zack Snyder’s Rebel Moon – Part One: A Child of Fire.

Following his violent assault on Shehorn, Pasqual fled the state but was apprehended by authorities at a U.S.-Mexico border checkpoint in Sierra Blanca, Texas.
